Extra protection

Provides extra protection for the bottom of my Typhon, however one of the screws (the one with the nut for the top near the motor) I just could not get to go on because their is little room in there and I want to be able to take this off and on. Overall, Great

Fantastic

Great bumper compared to stock, my typhon is modded to run 4s an i wheelied it hit a rock and then smashed into a tree at 35mph and it just bent and took a chunk out the bumper, saved my a arms. Tbones bumpers are needed for every RC

Buy a Granite V3 bumper instead

I like the look but the design has a pretty glaring flaw. The bumper only mounts using the bottom screw holes. Nothing to secure or brace on the front end. Then there's the aluminum hinge pin cover that creates a nice sharp, hard edge for the bumper to fold over. It might survive a 10mph crash but not much more. Wish the mounting was designed more like the stock bumper. Also, one of the holes in my hinge pin cover was drilled about 1/4inch away from where it's supposed to be, thus unuseable. Contacted the company and got zero response. Had to get out the dremel to make the thing fit. Unfortunately this is the only aftermarket bumper out there and the stock one just isn't as wide as I'd like. I've seen people install this bumper over the stock one, which seems valid if you didn't break it. The other option is a stock Arrma Granite V3 bumper. I haven't tried it myself but the design looks much stronger and it is supposed to install with no modification required
