Great value for your money

The Xmaxx should come as standard with this front bumper. It saves the truck many times from totally carnage. Highly recommend it.

Front end saver

You must get one it saved my xmaxx my son was using the xmaxx and lost control and hit a telephone pole at speed of about 35mph bumper saver 💪thanks tbone

Durability

Perfect size, strong, durable, and has saved me from many crashes that could’ve been bad. Would definitely recommend this as part of your x maxx upgrade list!

Perfect Bashing Insurance!

If your current set up needs to use the stock front bumper for any reason, then this VX4 bumper is the perfect solution for any basher. I bought it because I ended up running my X-Maxx into a huge rock/boulder that ended up obliterating my front lower bulkhead, front diff cover, front tie bar and front bumper. So I purchased the VX-4, mounted it (instructions on youtube), and the very next run, I managed to go over a small hill that flew my rig about 30-40ft as it soared directly into a tree "head-first".... I initially thought that there's no way that didn't do some serious damage to my rig, but... to my surprise, the truck was functionally fine... sure, it cosmetically looked a little unrecognizable... but ran perfectly after the crash...

So, yeah, I'd recommend this VX-4 bumper for anyone needing extra front bumper support... Only drawback might be the overall length of the rig is lengthened and the weight distribution is a little more front biased over stock... not a bad thing per se, just something to be congnizant about.

If you want the same type of front bumper protection, but do not have a reason to keep your stock bumper (for LED's etc), then the Maxximus bumper is a great option as well (I have that one for my other x-maxx).

Item is great quality, aftersales sadly isn’t

Regarding this purchased item I must say, after buying various TBR parts for 1/16 and 1/5 models, it’s a must have for your model. TBR makes the best RC model protection sets on the market. But their aftersales is less satisfying. When I emailed them regarding another purchase that I received in a skew state, TBR neglected replying on it. Maybe because free returns from Europe to US are a little expensive?
